The body of a polytechnic student living in a rented room in Zaidpur police station area of ​​Barabanki district was found hanging from a noose. A suicide note has been recovered from the room. In which the landlord has been accused of harassment. The police have taken the accused into custody.

Suresh Prakash’s son Jaideep Verma (30), a resident of Gopalpur Post Minimiya in Sitapur district, was a first year student of chemical branch at the Government Polytechnic located in Baraiya of Zaidpur police station area. His body was found hanging inside the room on Friday morning.

Police reached the spot and recovered a suicide note in which the landlord was accused of harassment for using the fan, switching on the lights and other purposes.

The student also put a status on WhatsApp about committing suicide which was seen by his brother living in Sitapur. CO Sadar Sumit Kumar Tripathi said that the accused has been taken into custody. Investigation is underway.
